How you get paid

Your ticket money is yours. Here is exactly how it reaches you, and how our fee works.

Your money never sits in our account. The second a fan buys a ticket, your share goes straight to you and our small fee goes to us. No payout delays. No middleman holding your cash.
Paid right away
No holds. No “payout pending.” No waiting until after the event to see your money.
We never hold your money
The split is built into the payment itself. Your share is never in our hands — enforced by technology you can verify onchain, not a promise.
One flat fee
2.5% flat — no monthly, setup, or per-ticket fees, and it never changes with how a fan pays. All-in across the transaction, that’s about 5% on card or just 2.5% on USDC — versus roughly 10% on Eventbrite (on a $50 ticket).
The money, worked out

Two ways a fan can pay — you profit the same either way

Here is what happens on a $50 ticket — whether the fan already holds USDC, or funds with a card through Coinbase Onramp first.

Fan pays with USDC
From their Base Account
Ticket price$50.00
BASEbloc fee 2.5%–$1.25
Network processing gasless$0.00
You keep$48.75
Fan funds with a card first
A separate Coinbase Onramp step
Ticket price$50.00
Coinbase Onramp fee ~2.5% card, shown to the fan · may be $0 for eligible partners+$1.25
Fan pays$51.25
BASEbloc fee 2.5%–$1.25
You keep$48.75
You keep $48.75 either way — the funding fee is on the fan’s side, never taken from your share.
Base Pay payments are USDC payments on Base, not traditional card payments. Base Pay currently has no merchant or user fee, so you receive the full Base Pay amount, minus BASEbloc’s platform fee. If a fan needs to fund their Base Account through Coinbase Onramp, Coinbase may charge separate funding fees — such as card or ACH fees — shown to the fan before purchase.
Note: refunds, chargebacks, or failed payments may affect final payout amounts. These examples show a clean, completed sale.
Getting it to your bank

How the money reaches you

You are paid in USDC, straight to your Base Account
USDC is a digital dollar. $1 in USDC is worth $1. It lands in your Base Account the moment a ticket sells. From there you can hold it, spend it, or move it to your bank anytime through Coinbase or another exchange. Opening a Base Account is free and takes a couple of minutes.
No crypto experience required

What you need to get started

You don’t have to “be crypto” to use BASEbloc — and neither do your fans.

On your side
A free Base Account and a couple of minutes to set up. No contracts, no monthly fee, no crypto background needed. If you can run an event, you can run this.
On your fans’ side
They pay however they want — card or USDC. Card funding is handled right at checkout, so no one needs to understand crypto to buy a ticket.
Why BASEbloc, not just a cheaper Eventbrite

More than a cheaper checkout

Lower fees are just the start. On BASEbloc, every event builds something that stays yours.

Your audience is yours
Every fan who shows up becomes part of your own record — not a database we own and rent back to you. It goes where you go.
You’re part of a coalition
Not a lone listing on a platform. You’re plugged into a growing network of promoters, venues, and brands designed to foster community and reimagine culture.
A track record that travels
As the network grows, the events you run build a reputation that follows you — city to city, not locked inside one app.
Bottom line
We only get paid when you get paid. 2.5%. That’s it. No holding your money, no hidden cuts. But the real difference isn’t the fee — Eventbrite captures transactions. We build community.

Examples are illustrative and based on a $50 ticket paid in full. Your 2.5% BASEbloc rate is locked for an event once it goes live. Base Pay is a fee-free USDC rail; if a fan funds their Base Account through Coinbase Onramp, Coinbase may charge separate card or ACH funding fees, shown to the fan before purchase and subject to change. Refunds, chargebacks, or failed payments may affect final payout amounts.
